Katchur thinking "What is wrong with this Mersch dude?" Since the Bell's Palsy I make grimmacy faces when I sing. But I'm in good company - you should see Pierre Bensusan.

With Carol Wallace and Tom Petersen - in the Peter, Paul and Mary tribute band that became Mystery Play. This would have been one of our first gigs.

House Concert with Janet Curci, Greg Lawrence, and Doug Lawrence - probably JT's "You Can Close Your Eyes."

My first musical partner was my sister, Julie (now Khia). We emulated the guitar and vocal harmony sounds of Steve and Darlene Lester, who were friends of my Dad's in Yucca Valley / Joshua Tree.

An informal set with Keith Duncan at a restaurant on the Lac de la Ganguise, near Castelnaudary in southwestern France. Keith was a fellow Middlebury student and also a musician. It wasn't long before we had a few tunes worked up.

Jim Earp with my Martin 0-28VS on the cover of his latest release (which we recorded at my place).

An anniversary party gig at a restaurant in San Diego - with Doug Lawrence, Janet Curci, and Greg Lawrence.

With my original '53 Martin 000-18, probably "On 78 East" - since nobody's singing and this was my DADGAD guitar for gigs.

The one and only performance of Keith and the Teeth: me, Keith Duncan, David Duncan, and Reinhard Weeg. Mainz '85
